walls are evaluated for proper drainage and integrity where visible. Patio- Patios are
similar to driveways and sidewalks. If a patio has a covering such as carpet
it is difficult to evaluate. Patio
Cover-
Structures over patios, such as a roof or sun shade is evaluated for proper
design and attachment. Decks
and Porches- Decks are inspected for proper railings, footings,
attachment to the structure, construction and loose or deteriorated
components. Fences
and Gates-
Latches, hinges and posts are inspected. Fence gates around pools are checked
