Driveway- Concrete is inspected for cracks due to expansion and contraction, soil movement and tree roots. Asphalt driveways require regular maintenance.

Sidewalks- Walkways are inspected for cracks that can create trip hazards.

Retaining Walls- These walls stabilize steep slopes and help control soil movement. Retaining walls are evaluated for proper drainage and integrity where visible.

Patio- Patios are similar to driveways and sidewalks. If a patio has a covering such as carpet it is difficult to evaluate.

Patio Cover- Structures over patios, such as a roof or sun shade is evaluated for proper design and attachment.

Decks and Porches- Decks are inspected for proper railings, footings, attachment to the structure, construction and loose or deteriorated components.

Fences and Gates- Latches, hinges and posts are inspected. Fence gates around pools are checked for self latching hardware.
