33 percent of residential fires in urban areas are caused by faulty wiring resulting in 700 million dollars in property loss each year. Electrical fires in homes injure 3000 and claim the lives of 700 Americans each year. Make sure your electrical system inspection is performed by a licensed electrician.

Service- Type, voltage, amperage, number of wires and main disconnect location is described. The service is inspected for proper grounding, proper attachment to the structure, problems associated with loose connections and safety. The main switch location and ampacity is noted.

Main Panel- The panel cover is removed for visual inspection. Connections are checked for multi-taps and over heating. Location, overcurrent protection type and rating are verified. 

Sub-panels- Inspection similar to main panel when applicable.

Conductors- Wire type, material and wiring methods are described.

Receptacles- Checked for proper polarity and grounding.
